Jesse Jacobson

Wizard of Oz

Jesse Jacobson has a true passion to inspire. She grew up in Missoula, Montana performing in various productions at Missoula Childrens Theatre at an early age. She traded in her much loved soccer cleats for some jazz shoes and has been training ever since to become a musical theatre performer. In 2006, the Jacobson family made a gigantic move to Jacksonville, Florida where she attended Grammy winning Douglas Anderson School of the Arts. Jesse was incredibly fortunate to have such intensive training in her desired field as a high schooler. From Douglas Anderson, she made the transition to college level performance at the University of Northern Colorado! After graduating from the University of Northern Colorado with her B.A Musical Theatre- Dance Minor, Jesse moved to New York City where she thrives off of the hustle and bustle as a working actress. Her most recent roles have been Wendy in Peter Pan (Prather Entertaiment), and Dorothy Understudy/ Ensemble in the National Tour of the Wizard of Oz (Apex Touring). She is thrilled to be teaching across the country for Broadway Connection! Follow her @msjessejacobson to find out what project she’s working on next!
